Discussion: The Tinder Swindler
Having seen the trailer for this before its release, I was pretty excited to watch this documentary about online dating scam. If you haven’t watched it already, I’d recommend you to watch this if you want to know one of the many, many scams that are happening in the online dating world right now.
THE PREMISE

The 114-minute doc tells the story of Israeli fraudster Shimon Hayut, who conned Scandinavian women into parting with hundreds of thousands of dollars by pretending on dating app Tinder to be Simon Leviev, the son of Israeli diamond tycoon Lev Leviev.”
